For this project, I manufactured all parts using a laser cuter, cut aluminum, cardboard, and purchased nuts and bolts.
The purpose of the prototype was to safely enable a disabled person to use a food heating device without lifting the pot.
The base would integrate a hotplate and electric motor. The motor would drive the lifter and titling mechanism.
The final production unit would be made of silicon coated steal to cope with weight, but not get so hot as to burn.
